We Episcopalians and others have lost our way by not using the services of Morning and Evening Prayer. The Holy Eucharist is a basic for Sunday worship, but our history and tradition have always been in the use of Morning and Evening Prayer, something we only do now in the privacy of our own homes. Our piece of bread and sip of wine cannot substitute for our seeking the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and direction and comfort.
