“Earthquake, wind, and the small voice”
In the Old Testament, the prophet Elijah was told by God not to find God in the earthquake, or the wind, but in the mother of a voice, the 'yom qol', a sound that is only hearable in one's spirit. The noise of today's world tries to drown out that voice, to the detriment of us all.
