Jesus comes into Jerusalem in a lowly procession riding on a donkey on Palm
Sunday, being adored by many expecting him to throw of the yoke of the Roman
Empire. The he leaves the city, regroups with his disciples, is arrested,
and crucified on Good Friday. We now await remembering his rising from the
dead on Easter morning.
