Christians are sealed by the Holy Spirit as Christ’s own forever. Any statement to the contrary is simply false. Even though we are sinful and not perfect, still God’s power working through us is sufficient to work mighty miracles that even Christ could not do during his limited time on Earth. We are not to allow the Ash Wednesday words to deter us from our God given directive to work Christ's miracles of love, justice, and mercy in our world.
