"The greatest commandment" is a sermon for October 29, 2017, Proper 25A, the

22:34-46. 

 

Jesus says the great commandment is both loving God and our neighbor. So if
we do not love our neighbor as ourselves, how can we say we love God? Jesus
also poses the riddle of how can King David call the Messiah both his son
and his Lord. Who really is our Lord?
