Collect for 1 Advent:
Let us pray:

	Watchful God,

	you are attentively alert

	to our every need.

	Awaken us to be so alert,

	watchful.

	We pray never to be left behind,

	nor leave others behind.

	Let us watch through Jesus Christ our Lord, 

	who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 

	one God for ever and ever. Amen
