Let us pray:

God of bread,
God of wine,
you send living nourishment,
your son, our Christ,
to fill the hole
deep within us.
Give us courage
to follow the way
that leads to eternal living,
your son Jesus Christ our Lord, 
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 
one God for ever and ever. Amen
