Let us pray:

Lord God,
you are the one found on the trail 
of our brambled lives.
You have sent us path blazers
to clear the way.
Now with you we walk,
only to be sent on another by-path,
to clear the way for others,
through Jesus Christ our Lord, 
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 
one God for ever and ever. Amen
