Let us Pray:
Birthing God, you give us new life when suffering comes our way.  When we hurt and pain you hover by our side with a tear in your eye.  When we think our life is useless and hopeless, you stand ready with purpose and meaning.  When our hearts are troubled, take our hands as we follow Jesus through the gates of earthly hell to fullness of life eternal.  We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.  Amen
