Collect for Proper 7:

Let us pray:

God of storm and sea,

when we though you

asleep in the stern,

you cracked an eye 

to say to our fear

"Be still, quiet."

May we in turn calm

the fears of each other

through Jesus Christ our Lord, 

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 

one God for ever and ever.  Amen
