Let us pray:

God of rest,
God of action,
when we have no time to put our feet up
you call us to break-time with you.
When we become complacent
in our small worlds
you thrust us into action.
Always give us balance in our hectic lives
through Jesus Christ our Lord, 
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 
one God for ever and ever. Amen
