The Book of Common Prayer (Episcopal, USA) has only a one year cycle of collects for Sundays, even though the scripture readings are on a 3 year cycle. The result is that the collect, although appropriately seasonal, seldom make direct reference to the Gospel of the day. Do any other worship books of other denominations have this same issue?
In light of this I have written a collect for the Fourth Sunday of Epiphany. The Gospel refers to Jesus casting out unclean spirits. Feel free to use.

Let us Pray:
Cleansing God, by your purifying presence you drive out of us all unclean spirits: self-righteousness, arrogance, poor self-image, fear of failure, or disappointment. May we now forever see within us that creating power of your son who lives and reigns with you and your life giving breath, forever and ever. Amen
