Let us pray:

Lord God, you not only dwell in the far beyond our sight, you also live close by in the darkness of our longings, which also is sometimes far beyond our sight.  You establish your kingdom, surrounding us with wild beasts to embolden us.  Give us courage to re-turn, re-pent, and see you through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.  Amen
