Collect for Proper 14

Let us pray:

God, host of the universe,
you have sent out the invitations,
to dine with your son,
the bread of eternal life,
the bread of enrichment.
May we graciously sit at table,
your multigrain board,
with rich and poor, saint and sinner alike,
both humble and haughty,
all hungry.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, 
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, 
one God for ever and ever. Amen
