Let us Pray:

God of all refreshment, on the third day you raised your son from the death of his grave.  Humanity has been buried and trembles in hurts, suffering and disappointments; and you have been tearfully with us.  Now is our third day.  Raise us up from the seeds and ashes of these graves to new life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.  Amen
