Given what I posted before on endless "sub-conditione" ordinations .... most
likely they just wanted ONE MORE LINE just in case the up to 6 previous
ordinations were somehow invalid. In the communique from Rome they simply stated
that "THEY" would not recognize the ordinations. THEY did not say they were
invalid.

Abp Milingo has acted very strangely in the past. However....no one is in a
position to actually determine his state of mind and intent at the time of
the ordinations.

Permit me to weigh in on this mess...................
One can only wonder what the hell these folks were thinking when they
jumped on +Milingo's broken bandwagon in the name of a married clericus and
episcopacy. Did they not know (or care) that he (Milingo) was already on a
slippery slope with the Vatican?
As I reflect on the implications of this precipitous tom-foolery, I
can only grieve for the future stability of Old Catholic ministry in this
country and wonder how many years this nonsense has set back hopes for any
accommodation with the IBC of the Union of Utrecht let alone cordial
relations with
the Vatican. While it is too early to make an assessment of the damage
inflicted upon us by this adverse publicity, I am willing to wager that it
will be
extensive, leading to further ridicule and discouragement.
Grace and Peace!
+Francis
