This reminds me powerfully of John F. Kennedy's comment on the Church 
and Celibacy, which was to the effect that these guys went into the 
seminary as young teenagers, and have no experience whatever with sex. 
Discussion of it just makes them nervous and irritable.

The second argument -- that lack of sex makes people crazy and rapacious 
-- is equally bogus. This is a conclusion that most adolescents come to 
about two weeks after discovering the joy of auto-eroticism: "Gee, if I 
couldn't do this, I'd go crazy!" Adults know better -- or should.
